Relativity: It could have been so much better

17/03/08  ||  Lord K Philipson

Relativity is a Finnish grind-oriented (mostly) unit with a horrible, horrible vocalist. Either the band made the title for this recording on purpose or they just ended up having it named very accurately by pure luck. Or misfortune, depending on how you see it.

It could have been so much better.

They got the D-beat down and the grindparts don’t suck at all. But their mentioned vocalist does. Oh yes, he does. He actually sucks so much he could switch dayjobs with a vacuum cleaner and become a star in that department. Maybe we are lucky enough and will end up having one of the song titles being a prophecy fulfilled as far as working with this screaming ape goes…

This time will be the last time.

It wouldn’t hurt them, that’s for sure. Relativity got some neat riff-o-mania and groove going on here and there within their tunes, so it’s a shame they end up with what could be a listening session of (somewhat) joy spoiled by this asshat. He’s literally all over the place, even when he shouldn’t be, screaming for all he’s worth (which is about a Canadian dollar, at best) while annoying the cunt out of me. Not acceptable. Not acceptable at fucken all.

Low standards.

That is another fitting title.

No more.

Well, Relativity said it best after all. No more. As long as this troll keeps polluting the groove that Relativity actually possess at times, I will stay far fucken away from any future releases.

Again, “It could have been so much better”.
